BACK WITH A NEW LOOK FOR MY PRINCESS

Tras mas de tres semanas de vacaciones escolares, retomo el blog! Tengo muchos trabajos que esnsenaros pero empiezo por uno de los que mas me gusta: un conjunto que le cosi a Amelia para estas vacaciones.
After nearly one month of Easter Holidays, I'm back!. I have lots of garments to show you, but today I gonna start with one of my favorite work, a new look for Amelia. 


Consta de una blusita, un pichi y una diadema ajuego. Es un look clasico pero muy cuco para ninas (en mi opinion)
A new blouse, a new pinafore and a new matching headband too. It's a classical and sweet look for a little girl.

EL PICHI:

THE PINAFORE:

El patron del pichi es sencillo. Usando el patron base de vestido para las medidas de Amelia, escote mucho la sisa (para hacerlo mas comodo y moderno) y lo corte por encima de la cintura para fruncir la falda. Este corte imperio para ninas es lo que mejor les sienta sobre todo si son delgaditas como mi Amelie.

The pinafore's pattern is very easy. I made de dress block and then made these alterations: deeper armholes, short body and gather skirt. This is an amazing shape for a thin young lady...

El cuerpo esta forrado con batista azul marino. 

I lined the body with navy blue batiste.

 

Las costuras de la falda remalladas con hilo a tono. 

I overlocked the seams with matching thread.

El bajo cosido a mano, al igual que los ojales. Los botones los compre como siempre en THE CLOTH HOUSE.

The hem is sewed by han with invisible stitches. The button holes are hand sewed. I bought these buttons in THE CLOTH HOUSE.

LA BLUSA:

THE BLOUSE:

El patron para la blusa es muy simple, el basico para blusa de nina con la unica particularidad que le he dado un poco de tela en la espalda que la frunzo en el escote trasero. 

I draw the shirt block for children and I simply added some extra fabric in center back in order to gather it in the neck.

La manga no tiene puno. las costuras estan remalladas con hilo a tono.Lleva un cuello bebe entretelado por una cara. 

The sleeves are very simple, without cuff. I overlocked all the seams with matching thread. It has a interlined, rounded, baby collar.

Los ojales son hechos a mano y los botones tambien son de THE NCLOTH HOUSE.

The button holes are hand sewed, and you can find theses beautiful buttons in THE CLOTH HOUSE.

LA DIADEMA:

THE HEADBAND:

Compre una diadema masica metalica que la forre con la misma tela de la blusa, cosida sin usar nada de pegamento. Luego confeccione un lazo que lo ate a la misma un poco ladeado. Lo asegure con un par de puntadas a mano. Finalmente coloque mi etiqueta.

|I lined a simple metalic headband, just sewing I didn't glue anything. I made a pattern for the bow and sewed it. Then, I tied it to the headband, fixing them together with some stitches.

Espero que os haya gustado tanto este look como a Amelie, que el dia que lo estreno era la viva imagen de la felicidad...
I hope you liked this look as much as Amelia does. The day she wear it  for the first time, his face was the happiest one in the world!!!.
